1, Introduction

DjVu Shell Extension Pack adds the following features to Windows:

  - Showing thumbnails of DjVu files.
  - Showing preview on Outlook 2007/Explorer on Windows Vista.
  - Showing preview on Windows Photo Gallery/Windows Live Photo Gallery*
  - Viewing/Editing title, tags, and various properties on Explorer.
  - Integration with Windows Search 3.0 or later. (Property Store and IFilter)
  - DjVu decode with .NET Framework 3.0 or later*

Each feature with * is a major feature of WIC (Windows Imaging Component) codec.

  Preview handler is now fully multi-threaded.
  Preview handler now unlocks the original file as soon as possible if the file is relatively small and fit into the memory. (to deal with other applications)

  FIXED: the WIC codec of the previous release does not work on certain environment.
  Now properties are in shared annotation. (But also checks the properties on the first page on decode.)

  Now the package is properly signed using Celartem, Inc.'s certificate.
  Now uses PDF DocInfo compatible property names to conform to the djvuchanges.txt.
  Timestamps are now in RFC 3339.
  Now escapes all the backslashes in annotation.

  There's an issue on packaging of the Nov 3 version. This is just a repackaged version. If you don't have any problems with the previous version, you don't have to update to this version.
